There is the opportunity for three advanced players to each receive about 20 minutes advice and instruction from Dame Gillian Weir in a masterclass environment as part of the 2017 Organ Day. There is no charge for being one of these three players.

It is envisaged that the participating organists will be of such a standard that they are happy to have their performance minutely scrutinized by a person with an international reputation as a soloist in front of an audience consisting mainly of organists, many or whom are accomplished performers.

Just three conditions are stipulated:

• All participants should be present in Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church by 3.30pm;


• All participants should remain in the class until it has finished. That is, until 5.00pm;


• If requested, all participants should consent to being photographed with Dame Gillian.
