MA DPhil FRHistS FEA. Studied organ with Stephen Carleston and Nicolas Kynaston and more recently with David Pipe. Oxford Organ Scholarship (1986-9): held organist's positions at St John's in the Square, Wolverhampton; Great Chesterfield Parish Church; St Peter's Civic Church, Harrogate. Currently one of the organists at The Priory Church of the Holy Trinity, Micklegate, York. Organ and choral reviewer for Organists' Review since 1991. An organ and choral reviewer for the US Catholic Herald. Written widely on the organ. Wide experience as liturgical organist.
