We are a mid-sized Anglican Church in Southwark Diocese, committed to being an eco-church and signed up to Inclusive Church Network.
The organ was restored twenty years ago and is in good working order. There is also a grand piano available.
We are keen to rebuild our choir, and especially to encourage some of the new families and young people to join. We are looking for an organist who will encourage us in our spirituality through the medium of music, who will work well with the vicar, and who will encourage and inspire the choir and other church members musically.
Choir practices are at 9.30am on Sundays, and the Sunday service starts at 10am. We are looking for an organist who could also play at occasional services including certain feasts and holy days, weddings and funerals. Every first Sunday of the month, we have a band playing and will not require an organist. This does not affect the overall yearly fee paid.
