David holds the highest UK qualifications as an Organist - Fellow of the Royal College Organists - and as a prizewinning holder of the RCO’s Choral Training Diploma - FRCO(DipCHM), in addition to holding a BMus(Hons) following study at The Royal Academy of Music, London.
David assists at Christchurch Priory with the organ playing and direction of the Priory Choirs. Over the last few years he has performed Organ Recitals at Portsmouth Cathedral, Christchurch Priory and elsewhere. In 2017 he played Saint-Saëns’ “Organ” Symphony and In 2015, Poulenc’s Organ Concerto in Winchester Cathedral.
David has very wide experience as an organist for weddings, funerals, liturgical, concert and recital performances and an excellent “liturgical sense”; able to enhance worship in any style. David always likes to make personal contact with couples, families and priests, to ensure the music is absolutely right!
