Giacomo Gabusi
Giacomo Gabusi was born in Bologna and began taking piano lessons at the age of 7. He entered the Conservatorio G.B. Martini in Bologna at a very young age in the organ and organ composition class of Professor Gianpaolo Bovina, studied with Professor Giuliana Maccaroni and graduated with honours in 2019 under the guidance of Professor Marco Arlotti.
He then attended the Master of Chamber Music held by Professor Guido Felizzi at the Conservatory of Bologna and then moved to the Musik-Hochschule in Mainz to study in the class of Professor Gerhard Gnann and Professor Jurgen Kaiser. He will graduate with a master's degree in organ with honors in July 2024.
During his training period, he took part in masterclasses and advanced courses not only in organ but also in harpsichord and chamber music.
These include repertoire masterclasses with Jean-Pierre Lecaudey, Francesco Tasini, Andrea Macinanti, Emanuele Carlo Vianelli, Javier Artigas, Stefan Baier and Ireneusz Wyrwa.
