Qualifications: MA(Oxon), B.Mus, FRCO, PGCE, LTCL, FRSA, CertEd (Arts Mgt)
Cathedral choir school educated, former Oxford organ scholar. Experienced musician who has held a variety of church music posts over the years in downtown, inner city and suburban parishes, as well as roles with community and office choirs. Also a qualified teacher who has run school music departments in England and Scotland, as well as giving one-on-one piano & organ tuition in school-based, church-based and voluntary sector contexts.
I have been Director of Music at Esher Parish Church since 2011 and am also Head of Keyboard at the Jonas Foundation UK (a charity offering free music tuition to inner city children).
I have current DBS clearance via Esher Parish, and also have Public Liability Insurance via my membership of the ISM.
