Membership of the choir is open to all interested singers.

Singing with the choir carries no implication of further committment. This is a self contained project and once done and dusted, that's it. You will be kept informed of other similar projects, but not with an expectation that you will participate.

It is NOT expected that singers will be able to sight read music. The piece(s) chosen allow for a range of musical abilities and, for those who want to use them, downloadable rehearsal tracks are available.

Gregorian Melody - verses 1 and 3
This will be sung by everyone at some time or the other.

Upper Part A - Verses 2 and 4
If we have lots of ladies, this will be sung by the sopranos. If just a few ladies - all of them will sing this.

Middle Part B - verses 2 and 4
If we have lots of ladies, this will be sung by the altos

Lower Part C - verses 2 and 4
This will be sung by the men.

End Section
This will be sung by everyone.

It won't be necessary for singers to download and print the music themselves, this will be provided.

Please remember, via the Music section (above) rehearsal tracks are available.

There will be two rehearsal sessions:

• A: Monday 14 Oct 7.00 - 8.00 pm: for those singers who like to go over everything several times, in St Nicholas'.
• B: Tuesday 15 Oct 6.30 pm: for all singers - in the church before the service.

The music scores and rehearsal tracks will be downloadable below. If you feel that you can use these to prepare yourself in advance; just come to rehearsal B.
