Musical Requirements:
We are looking for an organist to play for our 10.00 am Parish Mass on 2 Sundays each month. Possible additional work at weekday services, weddings and funerals (negotiable). Would suit someone not wanting a full time commitment. We are a modern Church of England church in the High Church/Anglo Catholic tradition, with a very friendly, appreciative and supportive congregation and clergy team.
The organ is Hunter IIP/19 organ which is well maintained and was cleaned and enhanced 7 years ago as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the present church building. It is maintained in excellent condition and is regularly tuned. There is a small group of singers to help lead the singing each Sunday.
Other details:
Remuneration is £50 per services, with additional fees for weddings and funerals.
