About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Director of Music to lead and develop the musical life of our church. This is a rewarding opportunity for a musician who is passionate about leading a church with a wide range of hymns and worship songs, and enjoys working with and developing singers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading music for weekly worship, directing the choir, and working collaboratively with clergy and worship leaders to support the church's life and mission.

The role will average 20 hours per month, including: Playing for Sunday services, Choir rehearsals, Music selection and service preparation and occasional planning meetings.
Additional fees may be agreed separately for weddings, funerals, and other special services.
