Musical Requirements:
We are looking for a director of music and organist to direct our congregational music and to play our well-maintained Bishop three-manual main organ and our two-manual tracker action Walker instrument. We have a good musical tradition in the parish, using the services of a cantor every week for a Sung Eucharist, occasionally with one or two additional singers. We are looking for an excellent organist (probably around ARCO standard) who can help us build on this particularly by developing the musical contribution of our children and younger people, building our choral resources more generally within available resources, forging existing strong links with a gospel choir, and working with supportive clergy and others to encourage a creative and broadly based range of choral and congregational music that reflects our diversity and inclusivity as a parish.
