Musical Requirements:
Duties include the 9.45am eucharist on Sunday, with a short choir rehearsal before the service; weekly choir rehearsal on Friday evening; services on Feast and Holy Days; choral evensong on the last Sunday of the month.We offer a two-manual Rushworth & Dreaper organ with 24 speaking stops, and a small four-part choir, which sings an anthem on most Sunday mornings. We have a weekly choir practice on a Friday evening. Remuneration will be in the region of £7,000 pa. Music may be required for weddings and funerals, for which an additional fee would be payable. We are looking for an enthusiastic musician who is keen to expand the choir and develop its music.
