Musical Requirements:
St Michael and All Angels (Church of England) are seeking an organist / pianist to provide musical accompaniment for its services. These vary from traditional to more relaxed and contemporary in style which is reflected in the variety of music enjoyed from hymns to worship songs. In addition, there are life event services (weddings, funerals and baptisms) which are through the week and covered by different fees. The holder will also be asked to select music and attend monthly practices for one of the services to accompany a singing group with the possibility of this expanding to incorporate further musicians. Appointment to role is subject to safeguarding checks including references and DBS checks.
Hours: 12/month. Remuneration will depend on level and experience.
