Musical Requirements:
Several hymns, a choir anthem and a mass setting.
Hymns (hymn numbers from Ancient and Modern Refreshing Worship):
Processional: 238 - Come down, O love divine (tune: Down Ampney)
Gradual (after the OT): 754 - O worship the King, all glorious above (tune: Hanover)
After the NT: 377 - Alleluia (gospel acclamation - tune: Pilgrim's Alleluia)
Offertory: 249 - Holy Spirit, living breath of God (Getty and Townend - we use a harmony version which I can send in advance)
Communion: 235 - Be present, Spirit of the Lord (tune: Repton)
Communion: 246 - Holy Spirit, come, confirm us (tune: All for Jesus)
Recessional: 264 - The Spirit lives to set us free (tune: Walk in the light)
Choir Anthem - Come Holy Ghost, by Thomas Attwood
Communion Setting - flexibly, could be John Rutter, or the Addington Setting by Richard Shephard, or the Festive Eucharist by Noel Rawsthorne, or the New People's Mass by Dom Gregory Murray. Happy to go with any of these, depending on what the organist would rather play - the choir and congregation know them all.
In addition, some playing for a few minutes before the service please, and a voluntary at the end. There is a gospel procession during which the gospel acclamation (hymn 377) is sung, but some brief playing after the gospel while the priest and servers return to the chancel would be good.
Choir anthem and communion hymns (235 and 246) may cover the whole of communion. But if not, some playing while communion finishes would be welcome.
