Musical Requirements:
We are looking for a Director of Music who:
• is cheerful, and has an appreciation for choir morale
• has an aptitude for working with singers of all ages
• is sympathetic to the liturgy and liturgical year
The Director of Music is responsible for:
• furthering the musical education and development of choristers, particularly encouraging juniors to learn and read music
• helping choir members of all ages enjoy their musicianship
• choir recruitment
• co-ordinating music with the Assistant Organist and other musicians (as required)
• maintaining and updating the choir’s books and music
• organising fundraising events and activities for choir funds
• ensuring the Choir's webpage is developed and maintained
