St Michael & All Angels Church, Jarvis Brook is situated in the town of Crowborough, East Sussex. Following relocation of the previous holder we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable Organist and Choir Leader to play at our 10.00am Sunday morning services and on special feast days. We have a fine two-manual Hopkins of York organ which was refurbished in 2023 through the generosity of the Congregation and the Community. We have a small, experienced and dedicated choir who practise on Thursday evenings and sing anthems regularly. We are looking to appoint someone with enthusiasm to grow the choir and continue the traditions established over many years.
Other details:
St Michael’s is an open and welcoming church in the central Anglican tradition. The priest in charge is fully supportive of the musical values of the church. Services are mainly sung Eucharists, with one family service a month. Fees will be in line with RSCM recommendations with additional fees paid for weddings and funerals.
