Musical Requirements:
Following relocation of the previous holder we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable organist to play at our 10.00am Sunday morning services and on special feast days. We have a fine two-manual Hopkins of York organ which was refurbished in 2023 through the generosity of the congregation and the community. We have a small, experienced and dedicated choir.
Other details:
St Michael's is an open and welcomingchurch in the central Anglican tradition. The priest in charge is recently appointed and is fully supportive of the musical values of the church. Services are mainly sung Eucharists, with one family service a month. Fees will be in line with RSCM recommendations with additional fees for weddings and funerals.
